Notes on Cecil Patrick  Jansen:  was  resident  of Singapore and worked in the Estates of  Kota Tinggi in Johore  Malaya and  later went to Kuala Lumpur to work in  “Jeram Estates “ Bukit Jerelia Malaya, while in Kuala Lumpur his family lived in Brickfields Kuala Lumpur, the children were Boarders of the Singapore Convent Holy infant Jesus and in Kuala Lumpur  Bukit Nenas Convent Kuala Lumpur ,

1 They hardly saw or Knew their Parents, Ruth Jansen recalls from her childhood..  School Holidays were in Singapore with uncles & aunts of the Jansen family. Eg by Uncle Joe Jansen, who had a Road in Singapore named after him “Jansen Road “

Joe Jansen lived in 4, Mattonban Road (NvD ; incidentally Leslie Jack Nicholas, from the Eurasian Association Singapore records,  Lived at 32 Mountbatten Road, Singapore.?? )

2 Reason why Ruth and her family know so little data on their family their Father Cecil P Jansen was very young when his parents died, she saw her father seldom. And he died at an early age; she grew up with her mothers Relatives.   To clear details on the Baptism Certificate of her mother in the year 1896, Ruth Janssen is unable to read due to her Blindness.
