1  Harridence, W H + Ouida Taylor

   2  Robert Treslove Harridence b: late 1890's at Abottabad, NWFP, was orphaned in an epidemic, refused to return to UK with his siblings and was raised in a Military Orphanage. Served as an officer in one of the Ghurka Regiments in WWI, fought in Afghanistan and Mesapotamia (told a story of being reviewed by T E Lawrence) and was awarded the Military MBE. Moved to ceylon after the war and became a prosperous merchant having business relations with HMV and H K Hales.
