Mohideen, at his cost, built an extension to the Mosque which was known as "Mohideen Hajiar Building" in 1895/1897. In 1900, Noordeen Hajiar, at his own expense, built the Madrasathul Hameedia School. He also built at his own cost another building at Hultsdorf Street on his own land and donated it to the Madrasah. He managed the school and financed it, the public too contributing a small sum. His son, Haji Jalaldeen Noordeen, was also Trustee of the Mosque. Haji Ghouse Mohideen, son of Mohideen Hajiar, was the Trustee in the late nineteen sixties. 2 - 0 - 0

By Deed No. 8545 dated 1-11-1855 of John Driebergs, NP bought for the extension of the New Moor Street burial ground the back land of Omer Lebbe Marikar Uduma (Othman) Lebbe Marikar for Sterling Pounds 130 0s 0d. He contributed Sterling Pouinds 73 and the balance was collected from the congregation
